Wage Rate: $30.25 per hour (40 hours per week)
Over Time Wage Rate: $45.38 per hour (after 40 hours per week)
Business Location: 810 Cliveden Ave, Delta, BC V3M 5R5
Work Location: Various work locations across lower mainland
Job Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary school.
- Completion of some welding course or an apprenticeship program is preferred
And/or
- Minimum 1-year work experience is preferred.

Experience: On the job training will be provided.
Job Duties:
• Interpret blueprints and drawings for welding process.
• Ensure measurements before welding parts.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
• Provide repair services if required.
• Use specialized machinery for the welding jobs.
• Maintain and repair all machinery.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Operate multiple types machines including semi-automatic and manual for soldering, straightening and bending parts etc.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
