Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
- Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
- 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook is required.
Job duties:
- Prepare and cook stock, soup and sauce for ramen dishes;
- Boil ramen noodles;
- Make and present ramen dishes;
- Prepare and make toppings for ramen dishes such as Chashu (slow cooked pork/chicken) and marinated egg;
- Prepare and present side dishes such as Takoyaki, Chicken Karaage, Vege Spring Roll and Gyoza;
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances when requested;
- Train and instruct kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, stock and soup if necessary;
- Maintain inventory and records of ingredients, food, supplies and equipment, and place orders as necessary;
- Clean, organize and inspect kitchen and work areas;
- Suggest and plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
