Responsibilities
Tasks
• Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences etc.
• Co-ordinate the flow of information within the team
• Open and distribute mail and other materials
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Supervise other workers
• Train staff
• Establish and implement policies and procedures
• Train other workers
• Records and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conference
• Determine and establish office procedures and routines
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory
• Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
• Conduct research
• Perform data entry
• Provide customer service
• Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
