We are currently looking for a Construction Manager to lead our construction team to provide exceptional service and ensure the seamless execution of our diverse range of roofing projects.
Job Duties:
1.Lead and plan roofing projects based on blueprint, schema, and drawings, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution and adjust as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
2.Provide timely reports on project progress to clients, modifying construction plans according to clients’ feedback and requests to ensure project objectives are met.
3.Prepare budget estimates, and lead the purchase of construction materials. Maintain and track all financial aspects of ongoing projects, and manage project budget effectively to actual forecasts and construction cash flows.
4.Recruit, hire, and supervise staff/subcontractors.
5.Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success. Develop an effective quality control program.
6.Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
7.Ensure the construction site and all practices adhere to company policy and procedures.
8.Provide alternate design, specification, and construction solutions when problems are encountered, resolve issues, and provide constructive cost-competitive options and possible ways forward to secure contracts.
9.Draft contracts and engage in discussions for modifications, changes, and additions to contractual arrangements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Serve as the company’s representative in business scenarios and negotiations.
Qualifications:
1.A college diploma in construction, civil engineering, or project management is required.
2.3+ years of experience in the construction industry including experience in managerial and construction supervising positions is a must.
3.Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
4.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6.Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and contract negotiation.
7.Adaptability to changing project conditions and a commitment to delivering results within established timelines.
