Job Summary:
• Overseeing staff, including identifying staff positions required, hiring, training and assigning responsibilities;
• Carrying out the logistics behind orders and the timing of the orders;
• Ensuring quality control with respect to trucks and truck maintenance;
• Determine how to increase business prospects, sales, and growth for the business and report the same to the owners;
• Overseeing inventory checks and the finances of the company, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and annual revenue;
• Overseeing and implementing all aspects of importing cars including the logistics of importing cars from abroad, including discussions with vendors as required;
• Managing customer relations of the company, including day-to-day interactions with clients and resolving customer requests/concerns.
Qualifications:
Education: High school
Skills requirements:
• At least 5-6 years of experience managing an auto shop in a similar capacity;
• Post-secondary education in business administration or management, or at least 5-6 years of relevant business management experience;
• Post-secondary experience in auto mechanics;
• Strong understanding of automotive parts, including mechanics and purchasing parts;
• At least 4 years of experience managing a staff consisting of primarily automotive service technicians
