Botanic Planet Canada Inc., located at 2 Bram Court, Unit # 3, Brampton, ON, L6W 3R6, seeks a full-time (30 hours per week) permanent purchasing officer. Wage $33/hour. Duties include:
• Purchase herbs, aromatherapy oils, raw cosmetics, extracts, tinctures, and other botanic materials for use and distribution by Botanic Planet
• Assess requirements of company and develop specifications for botanic materials to be purchased
• Consult with suppliers and review quotations
• Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions and award supplier contracts
• Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact suppliers to resolve problems
Requirements: Minimum two years of experience in the sourcing and purchasing of natural botanic products including herbal extracts, tinctures, and oils. Language of work: English. Submit resume to abbyherbal@gmail.com.
