Job duties:
Design, develop, and test refrigeration and cooling systems, HVAC systems, and other electrical components critical to maintaining frozen food storage;
Supervise the building and testing of prototypes for refrigeration and handling systems, ensuring they meet established standards and guidelines;
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and operation of refrigeration units, HVAC systems, warehouse management systems, and other electrical and electronic equipment;
Conduct applied research in refrigeration technology and electrical engineering to enhance system efficiency and performance, working under the direction of senior engineers;
Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of refrigeration systems, material handling equipment, and electrical components;
Write specifications, schedules, and technical reports; manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects;
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all electrical and electronic systems within the distribution center.


Work Location: 2388 46e Ave. Lachine QC H8T 2P3 Canada
Salary: $49.50 per hour, paid /bi-weekly

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related electronic/electro diploma
min 3 years of experience in electronic/electro-mechanical environment
Superior mechanical, electrical and technical abilities
Skills in analyzing, judgement and decision making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Expert knowledge of current manufacturing and test processes/technologies: standards and specifications
Experience in software and hardware requirements used in the testing of electronic assemblies
Experience with SAP, Power BI and SQL
Electronic assembly debug experience is preferred
Knowledge and experience working with various operating systems and backend programming is preferred
