Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $23.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education: No Education required.
Experience: No Experience Required. On job training will be provided.
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
• Assist trades men in painting new & renovated residential & commercial sites,
• Deliver or hold materials or tools to help tradesman and, help in other activities.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials. Select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to work site,
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps,
• Deliver paint, tools, nails, poly, glue, and other material on work site,
• Operate various hand and power tools,
• Mix, pour and spread painting material,
• Clean and prepare surfaces,
• Assist team in completing the rough and finish stages of the paint portions,
• Assist in smoothing and shaping surfaces using sandpaper etc.
• Assist in applying paint or other material using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment,
• Assist in taking away loose paint and old wallpapers.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
