New Island Sushi is amongst the top restaurants in the Saskatoon area. We serve a variety of culinary delights that are served to the highest quality. Our extensive menu includes Japanese-themed dishes such as sushi and sashimi combos, stir-fries, spring rolls, soup, and more. We also offer vegetarian options!
We are now looking for two experienced Cook to join our team, ensuring the highest quality food and services for customers. To be successful in this role, you should have at least one year of experience as a cook and be available to work during our opening hours.

Main Responsibilities:
- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Clean kitchen and work areas

Minimum Requirement:
-Secondary diploma.
-Minimum one year of experience as a food service supervisor.
-Advanced knowledge of culinary, familiar with daily procedures in the kitchen.
-Familiar with sanitation regulations.
-Willingness to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
-Comfortable with working under stress.
