Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.
Wage Rate: $19.50/hourly for 40 hours a week
Job Location: 7243 120 St, Delta, BC V4C 6P5.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Morning, Weekend, Day, Evening, and overtime, if required.
Education: Secondary School Education is required.
Experience: Experience an asset
Language: English.
Job Duties:
• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• Bake mixed dough and batters.
• Prepare special orders.
• Train staff.
• Operate machinery.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Draw up production schedules.
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
Work setting: Bake Shop.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Hand eye-co-ordination, Physical demanding, Standing for extended periods.
