Queen City Logistics Ltd. located at Unit 7, 1030 Kearns Crescent, Regina, SK S4K0A1 is presently looking for a Long-haul Truck Drivers. The company is offering very competitive wages of $27.00 per hour. Applicants must have a class 1 driving license. Candidates must be able to communicate in English. These positions are full time positions for 40-60 hours a week. The job duties will be:
• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
