Job Title: Woodworking Machine Operator
No. of Positions: 2
Job Location: 12625 80th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., V3W 3A6
Term of employment: Full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week.
Compensation: $28.85/hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hrs per day/40 hrs per week.
Benefits:
. Extended health benefits after three months of continuous employment.
. WCB Coverage with 4% vacation pay
Job duties:
. Prepare, set, and operate woodworking machines such as table saws, rip saws,
shapers, sanders, edge benders, miter cut automatic machines to manufacture doors,
. Read & Interpret drawings & sketches to determine specifications and verbal
instructions
. Clean and lubricate tools and machines
. Monitor the operation of the machine and make adjustments to solve the problems
. Remove and Replace parts if necessary
. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications and
accurately
Requirements:
. Education: Some Secondary School
. Experience: On-the-job training will be provided
. Language: English
