Position Overview:
As a Dispatcher at Park Landscaping, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and service delivery. This full-time, year-round position requires an individual with a strong understanding of landscaping and snow removal operations and products, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Your primary responsibilities will include dispatching trucks and subcontractors for landscaping and snow removal projects, handling sales calls, managing sales orders and invoicing, purchasing, and supporting the sales accounts administrator. You will work out of our office located at 20924, 100 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 5X8
Key Responsibilities
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for the following duties in ensuring the timely delivery of our services:
• Efficiently dispatch trucks and subcontractors to coordinate landscaping and snow removal projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Handle sales calls professionally, addressing customer inquiries and providing detailed information on our landscaping products and services.
• Manage sales orders from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Oversee invoicing procedures, tracking completed deliveries and services to ensure proper billing.
• Assist with purchasing tasks, including liaising with suppliers and maintaining accurate inventory records for both landscaping and snow removal projects.
• Collaborate with the sales accounts administrator to support administrative functions and improve operational efficiency.

• Proven Landscaping and Snow Removal Knowledge: Experience in the landscaping and snow removal industries are required to effectively manage and dispatch projects, and understand client's needs.
• Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and handling inquiries with professionalism.
• Previous Dispatching Experience: 1-2 years of experience in dispatching or a related role is required.
• Excellent Communication Skills: English verbal and written communication abilities to interact with clients, team members, and suppliers effectively is required.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities to manage various responsibilities efficiently.
• Proficiency in Software: Competent in using dispatching software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
Terms of Employment
Wages as a full-time Dispatcher are $27.50 hourly for 40 hours per week. After 3 months of continuous employment, you will be eligible for medical benefits including dental care and vision care, life insurance, and disability coverage.
