Job Duties
• Analyze and interpret welding procedure specifications.
• Skillfully operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
• Analyze and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes as well as cut parts according to drawings.
• Assess welds to verify that they adhere to relevant standards and specifications.
• Proficiently operate both manual and semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Efficiently operate brakes, shears, and a range of machines used for shaping, straightening, and bending metal.
• Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build industrial machinery and equipment, according to layouts, blueprints, and schematics, using hand and power tools.
• Assess the weldability of materials.
• Utilize pre-set welding machines to effectively fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Install fabricated components in final assemblies, including ensuring proper fit, alignment, and secure fastening, using welding and bolting techniques.
• Conduct maintenance and carry out minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
• Completion of secondary school.
• At least 1-year related experience is required.
• CWB Certification an Asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
Salary: $30 - 35 per hour
Work Location: 7450 Lowland Dr, Unit 111, Burnaby, BC V5J 5A4, Canada. The candidates are required to work at various locations across the lower mainland as per the company contracts.
Schedule:
6am to 4pm
10 hours shift, Monday to Thursday
