Job Duties:
Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines while managing budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient and timely project execution.
Lead and manage the construction team, including project managers, supervisors, engineers, and contractors.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals, while overseeing staff adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Prepare and monitor budgets, negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, and approve expenditures to ensure projects stay within budget.
Establish quality control standards and ensure adherence, addressing issues promptly to avoid delays and maintaining project integrity.
Develop long-term strategies for the growth of the construction company.
Identify new business opportunities and potential projects.
Ensure the company remains competitive by staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field.
Several years of related experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
A valid driver's license is an asset.
