Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver
Salary: $29.00 hourly for 40-50 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Number of positions: 3
Employment Conditions: Early Morning, Morning, Weekend, Day, Night, On Call, Shift, Evening, Overtime

Languages: English
Minimum Education: Secondary (high) School graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: will train
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely

Responsibilities:-
Tasks:
Drive as a part of a two-person or convoy
Load and unload goods
Operate and drive straight trucks to transport goods and materials
oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, breaks, cold storage and other equipment
Pay and receive payments for goods
Perform brake adjustments
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Credentials:-
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
Air Break (Z) Endorsement, Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A)
Experience and specialization
Type of trucking and equipment: Tractor-trailer
Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Transportation/Travel experience: Local, Long-Haul
