Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our dynamic team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products, managing vendor relationships and maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in purchasing and negotiation, along with a keen understanding of market trends in office and home supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the company’s product needs, determining the types and quantities of office and home supplies for resale through e-commerce platforms.
• Conduct thorough market research, analyzing industry reports and trade publications to identify ideal merchandise.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure products that meet the company’s quality, pricing and inventory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, placing purchase orders as needed to balance demand while optimizing costs.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to forecast product trends and customer preferences.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and company policies.
• Negotiate purchase terms with suppliers, including pricing, payment schedules, discounts and shipping arrangements.
• Coordinate with logistics to guarantee timely and cost-efficient delivery of products.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure continuous supply.
• Provide guidance to junior buyers on purchasing strategies and decision-making processes.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $30.50 per hour
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Benefits Package: Two weeks paid vacation per year or 4% of salary in lieu of vacation pay
