Spice 8 Sri Lankan Fusion Cuisine is looking for One (1) Specialist Chef (Sri Lankan Cuisine) to perform the following duties:
• Prepare and cook authentic Sinhalese cuisine
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions
• Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $30 per hour
• Permanent, Full Time/ 40.00 Hours per week
• Start date: immediately
Job requirements:
• Education: No education requirement
• Experience: Minimum experience of 1 year in commercial food preparation of Sri Lankan Cuisine
• Language: English
