Title of the position: Carpenter Helper – NOC 75110-5
Number of positions available: One.
Term of employment: 35h to 40h per week – full time – permanent position.
Language: English.
Wage: C$22.50 per hour.
Benefit: Extended Health Benefits will be offered after probationary period.

Job Duties
• Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood or other construction materials according to specifications.
• Prepare and set up tools, equipment, and materials needed for each task.
• Carry out general labor duties such as lifting heavy materials, moving equipment, and cleaning the work area.
• Operate power tools and equipment under the guidance of a carpenter, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Assist in installing and repairing structures, fixtures, and fittings, including doors, windows, cabinets, and trim.
• Assist in the construction and installation of frameworks, foundations, and structural components.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available.
• Follow blueprints, sketches, and instructions from the carpenter, ensuring accuracy and precision in measurements and cuts.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
• Communicate effectively with the carpenter and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements
• Some Experience in general construction Labourer will be considered an asset.
• Familiar with industry best practices.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Follow direction and instructions.
