Job Duties:
• Install and fit structures such as windows, doors, staircases, trim, and hardware.
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks and structures as needed.
• Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials like wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures and residential frameworks.
• Construct and assemble wood, metal, or concrete forms based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with construction team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
Working Conditions:
• Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
• Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
• Repetitive task.
• Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
