High Prairie Ford Sales & Services Ltd operating as Revolution Ford is a Ford Dealership, located at 5404 40 Street, High Prairie, Alberta, T0G 1E0, has a full time and permanent vacancy for 2 (two) automotive mechanics.
Duties
• Diagnose, inspect and perform accurately all phases of vehicle equipment repairs under minimal supervision
• Repairs or replacements include brakes, engine tune ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other parts and components of automotive system
• Remove, overhaul, and reinstall mechanical components with minimal supervision
• Lead preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections
• Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately
• Maintain records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used
• Evaluate completed work prior to release and seek approval where required
• Communicate with clients on work performed, update on vehicle condition and if future repairs are needed
• Adhere to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, policies and procedures
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman
Requirements
• Qualified Automotive Mechanic from any jurisdiction or eligible to challenge the trade in Alberta
• Valid driver’s license
• Working experience as an Automotive Mechanic is preferred
• Background check required
• Fluent in English
Wage
• 40 normal hours per week, working Monday to Friday
• Weekend work may be required when needed
• Wage range between $45 - $55 per hour, paid bi-weekly
• Overtime will be paid after 40 hours per week
