As we continue to grow, we are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Position: Administrative Assistant (NOC 13110)
As an Administrative Assistant at AK Autoworks, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring the smooth flow of information, managing appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Your contribution will help maintain our high standards of service in the automotive industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare, key in, edit, and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports, and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy.
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail, coordinate information flow internally and with other departments.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings for our team members, ensuring efficient time management.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory to support smooth office operations.
- Answer telephone and electronic inquiries, relay calls and messages, and provide excellent customer service.
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems for easy retrieval of essential documents.
- Determine and establish efficient office procedures, optimizing our administrative processes.
- Greet visitors, ascertain the nature of their business, and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings to document important discussions and decisions.
- Arrange travel schedules and make reservations for team members.
- May compile data, statistics, and other information to support research activities.
- May supervise and train office staff in procedures and the use of current software.
- May organize conferences to facilitate communication and collaboration within our organization.
Wage Offered: We are pleased to offer a competitive wage of $25 per hour this full-time position, which involves a standard workweek of 35 hours.
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries, or previous clerical experience, is required.
