DL Chicken located at 905 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC V5L 2H2 is recruiting a dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team. The salary is $28.85 per hour working an average of 40 hours per week. This is a full-time, year-round position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and performance bonus. Our ideal candidate will at least 2 to 3 years of experience managing in a fast-casual restaurant environment, be team oriented with a strong work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise restaurant staff during shifts
• Maintain the facility, including assigning staff to clean and conduct preventative maintenance
• Be responsible for providing hygienic, safe food that meets branding, and company standards
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are strictly followed
• Participate in hiring, training and scheduling staff
• Provide input regarding staff performance reviews
• Maintain records of inventory, sales and wastage, estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Assist in development of policies, procedures and budgets
Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 2 to 3 years of restaurant management experience
• Superior communication and customer service skills are essential
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends
