Styx Intelligence Inc. is expanding its team and is currently hiring a junior Front-end developer. This is a permanent and full-time position.
Position: Junior Front-end developer
Duties and responsibilities
• Create, update, customize, and test code for websites and web application interfaces.
• Contribute to website architecture and design alongside team lead.
• Write effective, scalable code for websites and web application interfaces.
• Develop front-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of website functions.
• Integrate user-facing elements into applications.
• Test and debug programs.
• Develop and execute processes to improve functionality of existing systems and regular website
updates.
• Assess and prioritize feature requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Work within the AWS environment.
• Study and evaluate data to ensure quality, security, user experience, and transform
data science prototypes.
Employment requirements
• Completion of a college program in computer science or a related field
• At least 1-year experience in a similar role
• Python or JavaScript functional programming experience
• Experience on working with database platforms including MySQL
• Proficiency in React, Vue.js, Bootstrap, Material UI, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, jQuery, TypeScript,
Node.js, Express, RESTful APIs, MongoDB, Git, and Adobe Photoshop.
• English language proficiency.
