Job Description

Tim Hortons is looking for a Food Service Supervisor who can efficiently assist in the daily operations of our location in Ashern, Manitoba.

Main Duties include:

• Supervising, coordinating and scheduling the activities of Team Members who prepare, portion and
serve food
• Estimating and ordering ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establishing methods to meet work schedules and procedures
• Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage according to our Always Fresh standards
• Supervising and checking assembly of meals
• Supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Ensuring that our products and services meet quality control standards
• Training Team Members in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Providing motivation, mentorship, and support, in line with Tim Horton’s mission, culture and values
• Addressing customer’s complaints or concerns
• Preparing and submitting reports
• Attending meetings with other Food Service Supervisor and Food Service Manager
• May assist the Food Service Manager with the selection of Team Members
• May assist with the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• Maintains store presentation and signage following Tim Hortons standards and display guidelines

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Previous experience in the field required (1-2 years)
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (preferred)
• Safe Food Handling certificate (preferred)
• Food Safety Certificate (preferred)
