Job Description
? Teaching and sticking to a regular schedule.
? Adapting the programme to meet the needs of a single child or a group of
children.
? Continually devising new strategies to keep children fully engaged.
? Create and administer child-care programmes that encourage and support
children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
? Incorporating joy and play into the process of imparting knowledge to
children.
? Provide opportunities for children to express creativity through art,
dramatic play, music, and physical activity by telling or reading stories,
teaching songs, taking them to local points of interest, and providing
opportunities to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and
physical activity.
? Assisting the child's social and emotional development.
? Plan and manage an atmosphere that safeguards children's health, safety,
and well-being.
? Assess children's talents, interests, and needs, and meet with parents and
other staff members to discuss progress or difficulties.
? Observe children for symptoms of possible learning or behavioural
issues, and write reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
? Regular meetings with the Head of Department and Principal.
? Following the Department of Education's and State's guidelines.
