Job Description
- Manage and coordinate activities of the clerical and administrative personnel of the
department
- Analyze internal processes and plans or implements procedural and policy changes to
optimize finance and administrative control procedures
- Monitor and analyze departmental revenue and expenses and report on trends
- Recommend cost-saving methods, such as supply changes and disposal of records to
improve efficiency of the department
- Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and
efficiency
- Assist in the planning of budgetary needs by analyzing short and long-term program
plans
- Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative
services
- Collaborate with leadership to assure the completion of the annual budget and
subsequent monitoring of the financial status of the department
- Conduct interviews, recruitment, and training for staff to carry out departmental programs
and services
- Inspect paperwork and documentation files or material, and record data for daily
business
- Oversee daily administrative operations including customer service
