Location: Canmore, Alberta – we have 2 stores, and the right candidate will be scheduled to work in both.
• Primary location: 737 7 Ave, unit 120, Canmore, Alberta, T1W 3H8
• Secondary location: 300 Old Canmore Rd, unit 129, Canmore, Alberta, T1W 0L5
Wage: $20/hour + gratuities, overtime $30/hour as per Alberta employment standards. Occasional task-based bonus ($5 per delivery between our locations)
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, full-time, 35 - 40 hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible
Work schedule: Flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays
Benefits: 30min paid lunch break; free drip coffee and tea, 50% off specialty espresso based drinks anytime; $10 off on some branded merchandise; “wellness” program after 3-month probation period – we will reimburse you 75% of your 1 receipt (within budget – conditions will be provided to the right candidate. Please note that this bonus is taxable).
Vacation: paid at 4% of gross earnings
Job requirements
Education: Completion of secondary school, valid Pro-serve certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in food service supervisor role required, experience as barista/café employee considered an asset
Ability to supervise: 8 people
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadline, standing for extended periods, walking
