Job Overview
PNL is urgently seeking an Interactive Media Developer to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can create immersive and engaging virtual and augmented reality applications that cater to our diverse clientele in logistics, health & safety, and security solutions. As a leader in delivering innovative, tailored IT services and solutions, PNL requires a forward-thinking digital media designer to elevate our offerings and enhance customer engagement.
Job Objectives
PNL provides a range of services, including security systems integration, corporate security, logistics, and technology solutions. To maintain our competitive edge and deliver cutting-edge experiences, we need to utilize virtual and augmented reality technology to:
• Enhance training modules for health & safety, and logistics by creating simulations that allow for immersive hands-on experiences.
• Develop interactive marketing content to demonstrate PNL's offerings in real-time, showcasing complex systems in a visually dynamic and user-friendly way.
• Strengthen client engagement by creating tailored VR/AR experiences that simplify complex processes and optimize decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test and troubleshoot VR (virtual reality) / AR (augmented reality) applications for various use cases including marketing, training, and operational support.
• Collaborate with project managers and the technical team to understand client needs and deliver customized digital solutions.
• Act as project lead and manage the execution when necessary
• Implement and test interactive user interfaces and 3D visualizations to improve user experience across multiple platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in virtual and augmented reality technology, integrating new capabilities into PNL’s solutions.
• Analyze application performance metrics and implement optimization strategies to enhance speed, responsiveness, and overall user satisfaction.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to develop promotional strategies and materials for VR/AR solutions.
Qualifications
• Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or in another discipline with a significant programming component or completion of a college program in computer science.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years proven experience in developing VR/AR applications using tools like Unity, JavaScript, or other relevant platforms.
• Other requirements:
o Strong proficiency in 3D modeling, UX/UI design, and experience working with Oculus, HoloLens, or similar VR/AR hardware.
o Ability to design creative, functional, and user-friendly applications that meet client needs across multiple industries.
o Experience leading software projects from conception to delivery.
