- Apply plaster in even, smooth layers.
- Sand joints and seams after applying several layers of compound.
- Prepare and clean surfaces
- Cut and attach metal corner beads to protect outside corners.
- Construct and install suspended metal ceiling grids, then insert panels to create coffered and acoustical ceilings.
- Use a trowel and broad knife to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
- Measure, trim, fit, and hang drywall panels.
- Align and fasten sheets to joists or metal or wooden studs
- Level off any extra compound and let the coat dry.
- Use a taping machine to cover joints and insert tape into the compound.
