Duties:
• Planning, direct and evaluate the consignment activities of the sales team
• Reviewing, managing, and approving consignment sales of high-end collector cars to auctions and private sales
• Instructing the RM Group’s Research and Editorial Departments to research and analyze historic files pertaining to the specific year, make, and model of the potential high-profile car to be offered
• Analyzing market trends of similar models of potential high-profile cars to be offered to establish a base value and then, utilizing this research to determine if the car presented in fact does meet the strict requirements to be sold in an RM auction
• Ensuring that RM Group Sales staff properly
o Communicate with clients on terms and conditions
o Address title and registration work
o Gather all required contractual documents
o Have worked to build client relationships
• Managing and promoting RM auctions to existing and potential clients as an auctioneer.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field
• Education or on-the-job training in an auctioneering is preferred
• 3+ years of management experience in an auction environment, including private sales of investment-quality and vintage cars
• Experience managing a team of salespeople
• Experience with collector/vintage car markets and ability to analyze market trends
• Experience with maintaining and building new client relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
