Legal Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files
• Record and maintain filing systems and monitor matters requiring updates
• Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
• Schedule appointments and meetings and arrange reservations
• Organize meeting and event requests and schedule meetings, conferences, travel activities
• Supervise and train junior staff in office policies and procedures
• Perform other clerical duties as required
EDUCATION, SKILLS, QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years’ experience
• Completion of a one- or two-year college programs for secretaries/legal secretaries or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid computer proficiency in office applications
• Attention to details and proofreading, time management, and organizational skills
• Able to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong problem solving skills
