Job duties:
• Select suitable wood type, as well as other materials needed for orders
• Responsible for the repair of products
• Take measurements to mark units’ dimensions or layout using tools such as rules, tapes
• Provide cost estimate of materials required for the structure of product
• Cut and shape wood materials to obtain components for doors
• Assemble and join wood components with the aid of nails, glue, and hammer etc.
• Assist and suggest clients, providing them with design options
• Follow blueprints to produce specific designs.
Job requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Completion of college program in carpentry or in a related field is an asset
• 2-3 years of related work experience is required.
