Maximum Seafood is a reputable seafood distribution company located in Toronto, ON. We specialize in delivering high-quality seafood products to clients across Ontario and beyond. We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our dynamic team.
JOB DUTIES:
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport seafood products to various locations across Ontario, Quebec, and other regions as needed.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of perishable seafood products.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues; perform basic maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections.
Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during deliveries.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
A valid AZ Driver's License or equivalent commercial driver’s license.
Minimum 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience.
Clean driving abstract with no major violations.
Ability to handle and transport perishable products.
Good physical condition to perform loading/unloading tasks as needed.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with transportation laws and regulations in Ontario and Quebec.
Physically demanding work, including long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting.
Operating trucks in all weather conditions.
Day shifts with occasional overnight travel as required.
