Vancouver Balloons of 4770 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5V 3R7, requires a permanent, full-time Retail sales manager.
Salary range $35.00 - $36.00p/h.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments
- Manage staff and assign duties
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
- Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and the effect of competitors' operations on sales, Including:
- Work with the CEO to prepare, plan and create business plans for business expansion and to grow the current business model to bring in more revenues
- Supervise workflow and daily business needs for new products and services to go from conceptual to live mode
- Pre-plan weekly social media content on all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Google My Business, and TikTok)
- Generate monthly reports on sales/marketing results
- Monitor website content and product information, edit and build to suit business needs when needed
- Be the brand speaker on social media and email channels when needed
- Onsite assistance and photo taking/content creation when needed
Applicants must speak English fluently.
Applicants must have:
- at least one year of industry-specific experience;
- relevant post-secondary education.
