We are looking for a carpenter to join our team!
Job Duties:
Design, install, and refurbish kitchen cabinets, countertops, and other woodwork to the highest standards.
Measure and cut materials to precise specifications.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations.
Install kitchen features such as backsplashes, shelving, and molding.
Ensure safety and compliance with building codes and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Read drawings and sketches to meet the project’s requirements.
Verify the quality of materials.
Supervise apprentices and other workers involved in kitchen installations and ensure quality standards are met.
Prepare project estimates and provide design consultations for clients to finalize kitchen layouts and finishes.
Requirements:
Proven 2 year experience as a carpenter specializing in kitchens.
Strong knowledge of wood materials, finishes, and installation techniques.
Proficient in using carpentry tools and machinery.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Valid driver's license.
Completion of high school.
Flexible hours including weekends.
Physically demanding.
Availability to work at heights
