St. Helen’s is one of the largest family-owned and operated federal meat establishments in Canada. For decades we have processed beef, veal, lamb, and poultry to the exact specification of our customers.
Our company is seeking for Industrial butchers. The duties and requirements that this position entails are as follows.
Your responsibilities include:
-Cut carcasses, and remove bones from meat.
-Prepare primal meat cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging.
-Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use.
-Remove skin and excess fat from carcasses or meat portions.
-Some other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of High School (Preferred);
- 1-2+ years of experience working with meat, preferably in a high-volume.
- Flexible hours.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods;
- Attention to detail and work well with others;
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds of force frequently;
