Job Duties:
Performing repairs and routine maintenance on trucks, including tasks like oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication, to ensure safe and efficient operation of the truck's engine and mechanical systems.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in truck engines, transmissions, brake systems, suspensions, and other vehicle components.
Ensuring all repairs are conducted according to manufacturer’s procedures, in a safe and responsible manner, and within the designated timeframe.
Maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and part requirements for future repairs, in compliance with regulatory requirements and to facilitate efficient workflow.
Conducting road tests on trucks to verify the effectiveness of repairs and ensure proper vehicle functionality.
Reviewing work orders and discussing with the supervisor to determine the necessary repairs on trucks.
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary school is required.
At least having 1 year work experience as an Truck and transport vehicle repairer or in a similar role.
Ability to work in confined or uncomfortable spaces, and stand, walk, or crouch for extended periods.
Ability to lift and support heavy equipment and components.
