Job Title: Logistics Manager Transportation (NOC 70020)
Location: SCARBOROUGH, ON
Hours: 35 hours per week, permanent full-time
Vacancy: 1
Wages: $52.5/hour
Job duties:
• Oversees the shipping and delivery of products with transportation staff
• Manage the loading of trucks, set up daily delivery routes
• Manage inventory and maintain communications with carriers and suppliers
• Conduct a cost analysis for selecting the transportation companies
• Analyze product orders to research the need for the products in stock
• Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment
• Quickly respond to new orders and ensure products delivery on time
• Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and other legal requirements
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance and other department to achieve strategic goals for the business
• Ensure all team members are trained and performing in a safe and efficient manner according to company instruction
Experience and Education Requirement:
• Completion of a college or university program
• At least two years in transportation and supervisory experience in the field.
