Employment Term: Full-time, Three Year Contract
Duties:
• Oversee the maintenance and functionality of Ontario warehouse facilities (Mississauga and Kitchener);
• Issue and manage purchase orders for materials, supplies, equipment, and services to ensure smooth operation of the organization.
• Provide information relating the financial sourcing aspects of contracts and Requests for Information;
• Identify options for cost reduction;
• Negotiate price, terms, conditions, and contracts with vendors.
• Source new and existing products, sub-contractors and vendors as required.
• Manage external vendors for new building projects timelines internally and with the sub-contractor/vendor.
• Monitor supplier cost/quality and delivery performance and drive actions for improvement where necessary.
• Act as liaison between suppliers and internal departments and external parties, responding to customer service enquiries and clarify requirements.
• Work with all internal departments for needed documentation of purchases, deliveries, and purchase orders.
• Responsible for ensuring purchases stay within the budget.
• Manage and track preventive maintenance and repairs for facility and equipment including HVAC, office cleaning, fire alarm and fire suppression systems, security alarm, etc.
• Oversee all facility contracts and manage facility and vendor relationships.
• Compile and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) records for office, warehouse, and build sites.
• Maintain inventory of keys (office, warehouse) receive, process, and maintain warehouse stock/inventory products.
• Responsible for forklift management, maintenance, tracking and documentation.
• Manage the warehouse inventory control process for keeping accurate records and quality standards for reorders and audit including managing the physical inventory counts (as required).
• Maintains safe and clean warehouse/work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred to be in Engineering as there is a lot of coordination of the warehouse space, including Rack and Beams placements); and
Post Graduate Diplomas in International Business and Supply Chain Management.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory as you will need to be able to regularly travel between facilities – currently between Kitchener and Mississauga, but depending on growth, other locations as determined.
• Forklift Certification an asset.
Experience:
• Five years or more of experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management;
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite;
• ERP experience SAP Ariba, Oracle, Wire, Coupa, Procurement to pay business system, Power BI and Pivot table; and
• Proven experience in cost tracking and financial analysis, contract negotiation & process development.

Salary: CAD $99,000.00 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week with three weeks paid leave per annum
