Blueridge Preschool Ltd. located at 3459 Goldfinch St, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6Y5 is looking to hire Early Childhood Educator. Applicants should have either a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or a Certificate/ Degree/ Diploma in the related field. This is a full-time permanent position with 32- 40 hours of work per week. The salary will be $24.00 per hour.
Following are the job duties and responsibilities of this position:
• Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest.
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
• Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor.
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
