? Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for wall and ceiling installation
- Position and fasten the sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
- Cut and install metal corner beads to safeguard exterior corners
- Use a trowel and broad knife to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound
- Tape over the joints with a taping machine and embed the tape in the compound
- Smooth out any excess compound and let it dry
- Apply additional coats of compound, sanding the seams and joints between coats
- Construct and install suspended metal ceiling grids, and place panels to create acoustical and coffered ceilings.
- Install the Door and Frame
