  Description :  
We require a Boilermaker with 10+ years of fabrication and welding experience preferably in the mining industry, Bring a high level of skill, safety awareness, and technical leadership to every project. Experience on spanned major shutdowns, new plant construction, maintenance programs, and mechanical installations in high-pressure, high-risk environments.

Fabrication & Welding

• Proficient in ARC, MIG, TIG, and GAS welding, delivering strong, precise welds on carbon steel, stainless, and alloy materials.
• Skilled in all-position welding for both field and workshop conditions, with a focus on structural integrity and compliance with ASME/AWS/ISO standards.
• Extensive experience in custom fabrication, including chutes, tanks, hoppers, skids, and heavy-duty plant components.
• Performs weld inspections, follows Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and supports non-destructive testing (NDT) processes where required.
• Expert in oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting, grinding, bending, and shaping steel components with minimal tolerance.
• Capable of modular pre-fabrication and fitting, ensuring accurate and efficient on-site installation.

Installation & Maintenance

• Installs, aligns, and commissions a wide range of mining and plant equipment including DMS plants, crushers, conveyors, scrubbers, screens, and water recovery systems.
• Installs and maintains high-pressure pipeline systems, borehole pumps, and slurry lines used in material transport and dewatering.
• Experienced in mechanical assembly, fault-finding, and component replacement (bearings, shafts, seals, etc.).
• Delivers shutdown support, executing tight-schedule overhauls with precision and reliability.
• Skilled in rigging, slinging, and operating overhead cranes (up to 75 tons) and mobile lifting equipment for heavy component installation.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and reactive repairs to reduce equipment downtime and increase plant reliability.

Safety Compliance

• Fully trained in permit-to-work systems, including hot work, confined space entry, and working at heights.
• Follows site-specific and industry-standard safety protocols (OHS/MSHA/OSHA), including lockout/tagout (LOTO), tool inspections, and PPE usage.
• Conducts and participates in Job Safety Analyses (JSA), hazard assessments, and toolbox talks to promote a zero-harm work culture.
• Actively reports hazards, near-misses, and incidents, contributing to root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Supports emergency preparedness through first aid knowledge, fire safety awareness, and evacuation planning.
• Promotes environmental safety by ensuring proper waste handling and clean work practices in fabrication and repair activities.

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Works effectively alongside riggers, welders, fitters, electricians, engineers, and safety officers to deliver coordinated project outcomes.
• Participates in shutdown teams and cross-functional crews to meet deadlines and minimize operational disruptions.
• Offers mentorship and technical guidance to apprentices and junior crew members.
• Strong communicator with a focus on clear shift handovers, job coordination, and team accountability.
• Promotes a supportive team culture built on safety, respect, and shared responsibility.

Quality Control & Reporting

• Maintains a high standard of workmanship, accuracy, and compliance in all fabrication and installation tasks.
• Uses precision tools to verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances as per engineering specs.
• Keeps accurate records including weld logs, material usage, daily job reports, punch lists, and defect tracking.
• Participates in QA inspections and supports close-out reporting, ensuring all work meets regulatory and client requirements.
• Reports progress, equipment issues, and safety concerns through both digital systems and traditional logbooks, ensuring full traceability.
