We provide programs to meet student needs of quick hands-on training, diploma credential, online learning course, or onsite corporate training, etc. Now as our growing amount of students in Acupuncture program, we are currently seeking acupuncture instructor to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Attends preliminary and regular check-in meetings with Associate Dean, Academic Coordinator and other staff supporting course development
• Design and update course materials and syllabus to reflect current practices and research in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
• Teach acupuncture techniques, theory, and related subjects, ensuring the material is delivered effectively to facilitate student learning.
• Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining academic standards.
• Offer mentorship and advise students on their academic and professional development, including guidance on clinical practice.
• Oversee student practitioners in clinical settings, ensuring they adhere to ethical and professional standards while gaining practical experience.
• Ensure that programs meet accreditation standards and participating in accreditation processes as needed.
Employment Requirements:
Education
-Completion of college or other courses relevant to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is required.
-A master's degree relevant to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is required.
-Holding an acupuncture license is an asset.
Experience
• A minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in acupuncture practitioner
• Knowledge of acupuncture and teaching experience is an added advantage.
• Experience with online and blended learning modalities, including proficiency with e-learning platforms and digital content creation is preferred.
• Proficiency in developing clinical and practical lab-based content for acupuncture programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within team
• Ability to coordinate with faculty and academic leadership to ensure program goals and regulatory requirements.
