Job Description

. Project Management: Lead projects for the identification, acquisition, testing, implementation, programming, maintenance, and support of appropriate technology for the full department. This includes desktop hardware and software, audiovisual equipment, digital messaging boards, kiosks, printing, paging, and other shared equipment. Ensure that systems are user-friendly, cost-effective, and timely for clients and staff. We are currently developing in-house CRM and plan to take it to the market over the period of next 1 year.

. Vendor Management: Establish a comprehensive service agreement with software and hardware solutions vendors to ensure a supportive relationship and efficient delivery of services.

. Financial Framework: Provide financial framework for budgeting and infrastructure for reporting requirements and department IT needs.

. Technical Knowledge: Possess a good working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, database management, common office computer hardware, and a range of common software programs. Experience in the repair of PCs, hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and training employees on new systems and software. Knowledge of wireless networks, cloud storage, active directory users, computers, and other systems of data storage and communications.

. Leadership and Management: Proficient in managing a mid-size IT department in a 24x7 environment. Skilled in implementing security policies and access controls. Strong project management and leadership abilities with broad technology experience.

. Infrastructure Management: Experience managing data centers across multiple sites and supporting a range of infrastructure services. Hands-on expertise in managing servers, storage, MS Exchange, SQL databases, and various applications. Extensive experience with Microsoft products, application licensing, and infrastructure management, including virtual environments such as VMWare.

. Networking Solutions: Consultative expertise in networking solutions, including wireless, CISCO Switches, routers, and firewalls.

. Help Desk Management: Leadership of the help desk technicians team, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Oversight of data centers, database applications, MS Windows operating environments, Active Directory, and Office365 applications.

. Security and Disaster Recovery: Collaboration with the Network Infrastructure team to strengthen internal and cyber security measures. Development and implementation of policies related to domain security and disaster recovery.
Performance Analysis: Analysis of resource utilization and optimization strategies to enhance performance.
