Primary Function:
The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Program Coordinator to help implement and advance the goals of FSINs youth, sport, culture, and recreation initiatives. In this role, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to staff, Youth Leaders, and Mentors, while supporting the delivery and development of community-based programming for First Nations children and youth across Saskatchewan.
Your Role
Provide direction, coaching, and day-to-day leadership to program staff, Youth Leaders, and Mentors engaged in youth sport, culture, and recreation programming.
Oversee and support the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of key initiatives and modules serving First Nations communities.
Design and facilitate leadership training, workshops, and skill-building activities for youth and program participants.
Develop and implement systems for data collection, program evaluation, and report on outcomes.
Collaborate with schools, recreation facilities, and community partners to enhance access to quality programming and resources.
Engage and enroll participants in programming, ensuring culturally relevant and inclusive experiences for children and youth.
Manage program budgets and resources, ensuring accountability and effective use of funds.
Lead and participate in internal and external meetings, including regular updates to the FSIN Sports, Culture, Recreation & Youth (SCRY) committee
