 Description  : New Profession Collision is hiring Purchasing Officer
Position Details:
Position Title: Purchasing Officer (Full Time 30~40hours/week)
Wage: $30~$32/hour (Depends on the experience)
Duration: Permanent
Location: 1245 Frances St, Vancouver, BC V6A 1Z4
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation will be provided

Position Requirements
- Completion of college diploma or higher education in business, economics or related discipline is required
- (Note: If a candidate does not have a college diploma in the field of business, economics or related , but has college diploma or higher education should demonstrate minimum of 1 year purchasing experience)
- Candidates must prove that he/she is familiar with and has good knowledge of auto or machinery parts
- Should be able to speak, write, and read in English.

Main duties for the position:
- Purchase of auto parts from suppliers and auto manufacturers
- Communicate with the shop for parts availability, and order parts when parts are not available in the inventory, and also make a special orders if necessary
- Determine parts to purchase and quantity purchased for orders made to suppliers and manufacturers
- Supervise the inspection of all supplies and maintain the inventory level for each parts in different brand of the vehicle
- Communicate over the phone, in person or through email with suppliers occasionally to monitor price change, parts availability and update recent price list for each product
- Negotiate and determine purchase contract with suppliers and manufacturers
- Administer shipping terms with suppliers, and ensure parts arrive on time for repair
- Build and develop long-term business relations with suppliers
- Assess and evaluate current suppliers and potential suppliers in terms of supplying prices and parts compatibility/quality
